ADDRESS: Gnowangerup WA
PROJECT: The Gnowangerup heritage trail provides an understanding of the history and development of the town of Gnowangerup and its people through a self-guided experience. The trail includes large interpretive signage with complimentary brass markers relating to significant places and the people associated with them.
The town derives its name from the Goreng Noongar word ‘Gnow’ which means Malle Fowl. An illustrated malleefowl acts as a motif that represents the trail and the town.
